Pilots may benefit from anti-impotence pill (Reuters)
JERUSALEM (Reuters) - A drug used to treat impotence couldhelp Israeli fighter pilots operate at high altitude.

According to the Israeli military's official magazine, aretired general plans to present to the air force the resultsof a study he conducted on Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.
He found that tadalafil, the active ingredient in Cialistablets, improved breathing in a thin atmosphere.
"The study's findings justify the continuation of testswith drugs of this type in low oxygen environments," an unnamedair force officer told Bamahaneh, the military's weeklymagazine.
